| SUMMER COOKOUT We would like to host a summer cookout this year on a Sunday afternoon, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and we need your feedback to help us determine the date. Available dates are: Sunday, August 31st Sunday, September 7th Sunday, September 14th If you have a preference, or if you know you wouldn't be able to attend on any of these dates, please email: info@balfourlodge.com or call Paul at (336) 512-1404. We will be calling all brethren individually to see what date works best for the majority of our members. This event will be open to all brethren and their families, and will be free of charge, with donations accepted to cover the cost of the event. Once the date is set, please let us know if you plan to attend, so that we can prepare enough food. This is not a fundraiser - just a chance for fellowship. LODGE RENOVATIONS If you haven't been to Balfour lately, you should definitely come out and take a look at the many changes taking place. The lodge room walls and ceiling have been painted, and damaged tiles removed. Most recently, we installed new storm drains on both sides of the building. Work continues on various other parts of the lodge, and we would love to have your help! As you can see, a goodtime is had by all when we're working as brothers. |
